Day 1:  Depart Los Angeles  
Your fascinating journey begins with an evening flight from LAX to Venice

Day 2:  Venice, Italy. 
Welcome to Venice, the City of Canals, a.k.a. “Jewel of the Adriatic.”  You will be met by A.C.T. representatives and escorted to your hotel.  Balance of the day at leisure.  NOVOTEL HOTEL (or similar)

Venice

Day 3: Venice/Cruising. 
Opt to take a half-day morning city tour showcasing the highlights of Venice, including St. Mark’s Square and the Doges’ Palace.  Later, transfer to your luxury ship and set sail at 5:00 p.m.  Dinner on board.  (B,D)

Day 4:  Split, Croatia (7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.) 
Split, a former Yugoslavian resort on the Adriatic with pleasant promenades, is steeped in Venetian, Gothic, and Renaissance history.  A must-see is the old town within Diocletian’s Palace. (B,L,D)

Day 5:  At sea. 
Enjoy the amenities of your luxury cruise ship.  Splendor of the Seas boasts a casino and show theater, Fitness Center and Spa, several swimming pools, a Solarium, jogging deck, and multiple restaurants and lounges. (B,L,D)

Day 6: 
Naples/Capri (Sorrento), Italy (7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.). 
Several interesting excursions are offered here, including to the Amalfi Coast and Sorrento and to the fascinating ruins of ash-covered Pompeii near Mount Vesuvius.  The sunny island of Capri, where Emperor Tiberius once ruled Rome, and bustling Naples, with its unique culture, are also accessible. Sistine Chapel

Day 7:  Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy (7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.). 
In Italy’s capital city, you can explore some of the world’s most famous churches, monuments and fountains:  the Colosseum, the Sistine Chapel, Vatican City, and Trevi Fountain. (B,L,D)

Day 8: Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy. (7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.)  THANKSGIVING. 
From the port of Livorno, the riches of remarkable Tuscany are revealed.  A trip to historical Florence, Tuscany’s artistic capital and birthplace of the Renaissance movement, with a stop at the Leaning Tower of Pisa en route, will make your Thanksgiving most memorable!  (B,L,D)

Day 9:  Toulon, France (7:00 a.m.-6 p.m.): 
Toulon is graced with a gorgeous harbor and surrounding rolling hills and fortresses. Charming Old Town features a wonderful pedestrian zone, boutiques, restaurants, and cobblestone streets. (B,L,D)

Day 10:  Barcelona, Spain (6:-00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.): 
Transfer in the morning from your ship to the airport, and fly back to Los Angeles.  Your memorable tour ends when you arrive the same day.  (B)

Day 11 & 12:  Two full days to experience Barcelona’s rich history and the magic of its tapas bars and lively cafes.     City tours take visitors to Gaudi’s eccentric Church of the Holy Family, the 14th century Gothic Quarter, the Picasso Museum and the Spanish Village.  Your package includes accommodations at a 1st class hotel with full daily breakfasts, ship-hotel-airport transfers, and hotel taxes.   $395 ppdo.  Single supp:  $195
