DEPART LOS ANGELES.
Your exciting vacation begins today as you board your overnight flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Australia.  Cross the International Date Line en route.

Day 2 & 3: SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.
You will be met at the airport and escorted to your luxurious “floating hotel,” Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas.   Enjoy your time in dazzling Sydney visiting sights such as Bondi Beach, Watson’s Bay, the majestic Opera House, and the historic Rocks District.  On Sunday, Nov. 25, set sail at 4:00 p.m.

Australian Lorikeets

Day 4 & 5: AT SEA.
Two relaxing days at sea to luxuriate inside the Voyager’s expanded spa facilities, or to visit the Internet center and library, or to duty free shop or try your luck in the casino.

Day 6: AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND.
11:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m.  New Zealand’s largest city
and the world’s largest Polynesia hub—is positioned between two harbors.  Optional sightseeing tours abound in this “City of Sails” (Auckland boasts more boats per capita than any other city).

Day 7: TAURANGA, NZ.
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  Tauranga, on NZ’s North island, is noted for its fine beaches, and is gateway to Rotorua, home to the Maori indigenous population and active geothermal geysers.

Day 8: AT SEA.
Your modern ship is filled with innovative features and luxurious amenities.  The day is yours to relax, and because seasons in the Lands Down Under are reversed, the summer weather is often warm.  Pack a swim suit!

Day 9: CHRISTCHURCH, NZ.
8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Discover the English flair of this charming South Island city.  Visit its cathedral, Canterbury Museum and Botanic Gardens; take a countryside tour or cruise down the Avon River.

Christchurch

Day 10: DUNEDIN (PORT CHALMERS), NZ.
7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
Sightseeing opportunities abound in this city on NZ’s South Island.  A perfectly preserved Victorian city, Dunedin’s Scottish heritage is evident everywhere.

Day 11: FJORDLAND, NZ.
(cruising 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.)  Fjordland
is the largest national park in New Zealand and arguably the most spectacular.  For thousands of years, glaciers have cut into the mountainous area, and the sea has flooded in and filled up the cracks to make a stunning landscape, highlighted by Milford Sound.

You will also experience the grandeur of Doubtful Sound, a name given by Captain Cook, who was unsure of whether or not the inlet was navigable.  Several large waterfalls cascade into Doubtful Sound, and dolphins, seals, and even penguins frolic in the icy waters.
Spectacular Dusky Sound, New Zealand’s longest fjord, completes your visit of Fjordland.

Milford Sound

Day 12 & 13: AT SEA.
The first of five Voyager-class vessels, the 138,000-ton Voyager of the Seas is loaded with cruising firsts:  an ice-skating rink, in-line skating track, television studio, and full-size basketball court.  The Royal Promenade, which runs through the center of ship, is longer than a football field and wide enough to accommodate three lanes of traffic.  Here you’ll find restaurants, shops, entertainment, and street performers.

Dance clubs, cocktail lounges, a casual grill, a beauty salon, ice-cream parlors, and multiple dining venues await you, as well as a dazzling casino and lavish theaters (both stage and cinema).  Enjoy your days at sea!

Day 14: MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA.
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.
This riverside city is known as Australia’s “Garden City,” in large part because of Fitzroy Gardens and the lakes and blooms of the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Day 15:  AT SEA.
Self-serve Laundromats are on board, as is a miniature golf course, chapel, three pools, and a tennis court.

Sydney

Day 16: SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA.   6:00 a.m.  Disembark the ship after breakfast and, with fond memories, fly back to Los Angeles, arriving the same day
