Day 1: Your exciting journey begins tonight when you board Swiss Air on your non-stop flight to Europe.

Day 2: BARCELONA, SPAIN. Welcome to the cultural capital of Catalonia! Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your centrally located 4-star hotel. Rest of day at leisure. HOTEL ST. MORITZ

Day 3: BARCELONA. Full day at leisure to explore this exciting, sophisticated city. Opt to take a guided sightseeing tour, or browse the shops on famous Ramblas pedestrian street. Your A.C.T. tour director will suggest a menu of interesting activities to fill your time over the next two days in this vibrant city. (B)

Day 4: BARCELONA/CRUISING. Morning free for tours or other pursuits. Afternoon transfer to the port, where your luxurious “floating hotel,” the Norwegian Gem, is anchored. Set sail at 7:00 p.m. (B,D)

Day 5: AT SEA. Relax and enjoy NCL’s “Freestyle Cruising” as you sail south to Malta. (B,L,D)

Day 6: VALLETTA, MALTA 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. In Malta’s capital, Valletta, a.k.a. “The Fortress City,” the Knights of St. John was established in 1530. Awaiting you is St. John’s Cathedral, the Grand Master’s Palace, avant-garde art, theater, and narrow side streets filled with tiny shops selling antiques, maps, books, prints, and jewelry. (B,L,D)

Day 7: NAPLES, ITALY 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. There is plenty to do and see in Naples, birthplace to Sophia Loren and pizza. You have the opportunity to visit nearby Pompeii, Capri (weather permitting), or the Amalfi Coast. (B,L,D)

Day 8: CITAVECCHIA/ROME, ITALY 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Spend a full day in the “Eternal City” of Rome. Opt to visit Vatican City, the Colosseum, St. Peter’s Square, Trevi Fountain, and other famous sites. (B,L,D)

Day 9: LIVORNO/TUSCANY, ITALY 7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Livorno is the gateway to Pisa, with its Leaning Tower, and artistic Florence, birthplace of Michelangelo and the Renaissance. Enjoy the Tuscan sun! (B,L,D)

Day 10: VILLEFRANCE, FRANCE 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. From this port on the dazzling French Riviera, you can visit a medieval village in Provence, shop in Nice, or try your luck in Monte Carlo, Monaco! (B,L,D)
