Day 1: DEPART PSP- HONOLULU.
Your exciting vacation begins today when you fly from Palm Springs to the island of Oahu in Hawaii, aboard United Airlines.  Aloha Honolulu!  A traditional flower lei greeting awaits you upon landing this afternoon.  Transfer to the city’s newly renovated hotel (twinfinwaikiki.com), located across Waikiki Beach and rated four stars by Trip Advisor.  Unpack just once for five days.  Remainder of the day is at leisure.  Why not treat yourself to a Mai Tai?  Your well-earned vacation has started!   TWIN FIN WAIKIKI BEACH HOTEL

Days 2-4:  HONOLULU. 
Happy Mothers Day!  During your time in Hawaii, opt to visit the Polynesian Cultural Center for authentic island arts, crafts, history, music, a dinner buffet, and a spectacular Polynesian show with more than 100 performers.  Other activities that may interest you include an optional sunset cocktail cruise, offering splendid views of the glittering Waikiki coastline and famous Diamond Head; a tour of Pearl Harbor’s famous battleship row and the USS Arizona Memorial dedicated to the 1,102 men still entombed; and an island tour of Oahu. 

Of course, many people prefer to simply relax, swim, shop the colorful stores hike to the top of majestic Diamond Head, snorkel at nearby Hanauma Bay, enjoy water sports, participate in a luau, or laze on a beach chair under an umbrella in front of the hotel. 

Day 5: HONOLULU/PALM SPRINGS. 
The entire day is yours to relax, swim, shop and dine before being transferred to the airport in time for your 9:00 p.m. flight back to Palm Springs, via San Francisco.  Return tanned and relaxed on May 18 when you arrive at Palm Springs Airport at 10:00 a.m.
