Nov. 19 BARCELONA, SPAIN. 
Welcome to the country’s culture capital!  You will be welcomed at BCN Airport and transferred to your first-class hotel.   BEST WESTERN HOTEL BARCELONA (or similar).
 

Nov. 20 BARCELONA. 
Spain’s most exciting, cultural and sophisticated city is how many describe Barcelona.  Explore the Old Quarter, visit the lively Ramblas pedestrian mall, or see Gaudi’s architectural fantasies like Familia Sagrada and Picasso masterpieces during your time in colorful Barcelona. Later, transfer to your luxurious new “floating hotel,” Costa Cruise Lines’ Costa S-Meralda.  Settle into your stateroom and set sail at 7:00 p.m.  

Nov. 21: PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN. 
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands,
with some 310 miles of sparkling coastline. In valleys along the shore, little fishing villages sit tucked away, and narrow winding lanes lead past cozy stone cottages and old Moorish estates. Due to its favorable climate and strategic location, the isle has changed hands many times throughout history, enriching it with Roman, Arab and European influences. Sailing into Palma, you will get an amazing view of the hilltop Bellver Castle, dating to the 14th century, and the city's landmark La Seu, a dramatic Gothic cathedral set just above the harbor.

Relax and enjoy the amenities of your cruise ship as you sail the Mediterranean Sea to Sicily.|
 

Nov. 23 Happy Thanksgiving! PALERMO, SICILY.
8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. 
The capital of the island of Sicily, the city’s Romanesque, Byzantine, and Norman monuments will enchant you, while its famous cuisine will captivate your taste buds.  Celebrate Thanksgiving either at a Sicilian restaurant or on board the ship, after your explorations. 

Nov. 24:  ROME/CIVITIVECCIA PORT, ITALY.
8:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.  You have the entire day to explore Rome, either on your own or on a guided tour, visiting sites including treasures of the Vatican.

Nov. 25:  SAVONA, ITALY. 
8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  Southwest of Genoa on the Italian Riviera
sits Savona, a scenic seaport in the Liguria region. Savona is a jumping-off point for excursions to opulent Monte Carlo and the storied coastal villages of Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Portofino.

Nov. 26:  MARSEILLE, FRANCE. 
8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 
A meeting place of cultures and gateway to Provence, Marseille with its picturesque port on the French Riviera is world famous for tasty seafood, including bouillabaisse.  Artists and authors have been inspired here, prompting iconic works from the likes of Paul Cezanne and Van Gogh. 

Nov. 27 BARCELONA, SPAIN. 
7:00 a.m.  
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to your airport hotel.  You have a full day to complete sightseeing in the city, or perhaps travel to the Unesco Site of Montserrat Abbey.  

Nov. 28 BARCELONA-LOS ANGELES. 
Transfer to BCN for your flight back to LAX, arriving the same day.
