Day 1: EMBARKATION.
Transfer by motorcoach this morning from desert and inland areas to San Pedro, CA where you will board your luxury ship, Princess Cruise Lines’ Discovery Princess. Set sail at 4:00 p.m.
Day 2: AT SEA Happy Easter!
Relax and enjoy the amenities of your ship while sailing north to San Francisco.
Day 3: SAN FRANCISCO.
7:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m. Cable cars, the Golden Gate rising from the fog—enjoy your full day in San Francisco, arguably the most romantic city in the United States, featuring a colorful history, superb restaurants, sophisticated museums, world-class shopping, and famous Fisherman’s Wharf, where you will drop anchor. Opt to take a city tour, visit Alcatraz and Sausalito, China Town, the Muir Woods, or Sonoma Wine Country. Departing this evening, your ship passes under the famous Golden Gate Bridge!
Day 4: MONTEREY.
8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monterey's rich history, including the Mission Trail, historic Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row, offers visitors to the area a wonderful experience. Here one can visit the world-class Monterey Bay Aquarium and the National Steinbeck Center. Outdoor enthusiasts will love to golf along the rocky shore, ride horseback over open meadows, or hike through one of the many nature preserves.
Day 5: AT SEA.
Enjoy the many amenities of your ship.
Day 6: SAN DIEGO.
8:00 a.m.-10:00 p.m Visitors can go shopping in Seaport Village, visit the Maritime Museum of San Diego, take a trip to SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park, or hop on a trolley for a guided sightseeing adventure.
Day 7: ENSENADA, MEXICO.
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Called the “Cinderella of the Pacific,” Ensenada is known for its warm Mediterranean climate, friendly atmosphere, shopping, and fine restaurants. Fishing expeditions are offered, as well as tours to wineries and to the natural ocean phenomenon named “Blowhole.”
Day 8: SAN PEDRO/DISEMBARKATION.
6:30 a.m. After a leisurely breakfast, disembark, clear U.S. customs and passport inspection, and return by motorcoach to select inland and desert locales.
