Experience the luxury of a bygone era at the newly refurbished Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. Watch the Cataract Creek Gang and the Marshal square off at the Williams Depot. Then it’s All Aboard! for the domed roof train ride for Spectacular Grand Canyon viewing. After 2 days at the Grand Canyon, mosey on over to Bearizona for another WILD experience. On the last day head to Seligman, the birthplace of Historic Route 66.

Unpack and relax for four nights at the newly refurbished Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. Stroll Williams where you find everything from western wear to Native American Jewelry to art galleries.
Grand Canyon Railway/Grand Canyon Viewing
After breakfast, walk to the train depot to enjoy old-fashioned Wild West shootout that brings frontier history to life. Then board the scenic domed rail car for spectacular views along the same tracks early adventurers to the Grand Canyon followed. Train tickets are included. Stop at Bright Angel Lodge for a hosted lunch at this Natural Wonder. (B, L)
Village, Desert View Watchtower and Mather Point
This morning, board your motorcoach and head into the canyon. See sweeping, panoramic views from the tower that rises above the canyon rim. Then to Mather Pointm one of the most popular and easily accessible overlooks. Shifting light transforms the canyon walls into brilliant desert shades creating an unforgettable impression of the Canyon. Back to the village for a late lunch and a chance to see National Geographic’s video in IMAX format to learn more about the history, geology, wildlife and human story of the Grand Canyon. (B, L)
Bearizona
Entry to Bearizona is included. You’ll drive through this wildlife park and board the Wild Ride Bus for a chance to see black bears, reindeer, wolves , burros, goats, white bison, etc. Animal shows are throughout the day but times are subject to change. Prepared for the unexpected.

Depart hotel for journey home with stops in Seligman, the birthplace of historic Route 66 and Needles for a final hosted lunch. (B, L)

Two days exploring various sites of awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Grand Canyon.
Bearizona
Enjoy Wild Ride Bus for a drive-thru adventure to see local wild animals. Time permitting, see an animal show and fort Bearizona, a walk-thru experience to see smaller animals like skunks and porcupines.
Route 66
Stop in Seligman, birthplace of route 66. Stroll its quirky downtown lined with vintage neon sighs, classic diners and kitschy souvenir shops that celebrate Route 66.

This 5 Day 4 Night Rails, Rims and Roars Adventure includes 4 Breakfasts and 4 lunches. Breakfasts will be at the full buffet located right at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. Lunches will be at diners along route 66 in Kingman and Needles and at the Grand Canyon. Complimentary snacks are available during the train ride and you will have opportunity to purchase snacks, sandwiches, refreshments, including alcoholic beverages in the Cafe Car en route to the Grand Canyon. Dinners are on your own, and we’ll provide several suggestions from the comfy hotel to local fare in Williams.
